【Indications】

Exogenous rheumatism syndrome. Headache, heavy head, soreness in the lower back, or general pain, difficulty turning sideways, white coating, and floating pulse. The original book treats "the qi of the Taiyang Meridian of the hand is depressed and cannot flow, and the shoulder and back pain cannot be recalled; the Taiyang Meridian of the foot is blocked, the spine is painful and the neck is strong, the waist seems to be bent, and the neck is like pulling out." Wu Kun's "Medicinal Prescription Examination - Shimen" It says: "For external injuries caused by dampness, which causes pain all over the body, this prescription is suitable for it."

【Fang Yi】

The symptoms treated by this prescription are mostly caused by sweating due to wind, or living in a humid place for a long time, and rheumatism is caused by the evil of rheumatism on the surface of the skin. Wind and evil are competing with each other and are depressed in the Taiyang meridian, so you may experience headaches, heavy body weight, or pain in the waist and spine, making it difficult to turn sideways. If the evil is located on the surface, it should be removed from the surface, so that the evil of rheumatism will go away with sweat, so the method of dispelling rheumatism is used. Qianghuo and Duhuo are the kings in the prescription. Qianghuo enters the Taiyang Meridian and can dispel rheumatism in the upper part, while Duhuo is good at dispelling rheumatism in the lower part. The combination of the two can disperse rheumatism all over the body, soothe the joints and relieve paralysis. Take Fengfeng and Ligusticum as root to dispel rheumatism in the Taiyang Meridian and relieve headaches. Combined with Ligusticum chuanxiong to activate blood circulation, dispel wind and relieve pain; and use Ligusticum chuanxiong to dispel wind and relieve pain. Use licorice to reconcile the medicines. The combination of all prescriptions can dispel wind and overcome dampness. After taking it, the patient should sweat slightly, make the rheumatism go away, and the pain will stop.

There are recent clinical reports of adding flavored Qianghuoshengshi decoction to treat allergic purpura, and the efficacy is quite satisfactory. For example, there were 8 males and 6 females, most of whom were children and young adults with allergic purpura, and the course of the disease lasted from 3 days to 1 and a half months. The symptoms and signs were consistent with the diagnostic criteria of Henoch-Schonlein purpura. Among the 14 cases, 5 cases were of simple type, 3 cases were of articular type, 4 cases were of abdominal type, and 2 cases were complicated by nephritis. Treatment method: Simply take traditional Chinese medicine. The basic composition is Qianghuoshengshi decoction plus Scutellaria baicalensis and Schizonepeta. Decoction 1 dose in water every day, take it in the morning and evening. For the simple type, use the basic formula, for the joint type, add asarum and cinnamon twigs, and for the abdominal type, use the basic formula plus pinellia and white peony root. For those complicated with nephritis, it should be treated according to the syndrome type of Henoch-Schonlein purpura, without adding additional flavors; no matter what type it is, use the basic formula. Cicada sloughing can be added if it is accompanied by heat symptoms. As a result, all 14 cases were cured. That is, all the purpura disappears, the associated abdominal pain, vomiting, melena, joint swelling and pain, or rubella all disappear, the accompanying nephritis and edema disappears, the blood pressure returns to normal, and the proteinuria, hematuria, and tubular urine all turn negative.
