【Fang Yi】

This prescription is suitable for patients with internal heat and blood deficiency, palpitations, upset and inability to lie down. This prescription is called Xiexin Tang for Shaoyin disease, which means it is used for Xiexin Tang syndrome with deficiency syndrome. Coptis chinensis and scutellaria baicalensis in the prescription were originally the basic medicines of Xiexin decoction. Due to the deficiency of the syndrome, rhubarb was not included, and donkey-hide gelatin, white peony root and chicken root were added. Designed for heart and kidney blood deficiency, peony nourishes blood and yin and astringes the heart and kidneys; donkey-hide gelatin nourishes blood and yin and regulates blood circulation; chicken jelly nourishes the kidneys and heart. All medicines are used together to nourish body fluids, dispel internal heat, and relieve upset.
