【Indications】

Intrinsic dampness and heat, intestinal wind, red tongue, stringy and rapid pulse.

【Fang Yi】

Intestinal wind poisoning and bleeding are mostly caused by dampness, heat, wind and dryness. In the prescription, Sophora japonica clears away dampness and heat in the large intestine, cools blood and stops bleeding; Platycladus orientalis leaves help Sophora japonica, cools blood and stops bleeding; Black Nepeta dispels wind, regulates blood and stops bleeding; Citrus aurantium helps to widen the intestines and regulate Qi. Together they can clear the intestines, dispel wind, cool blood and stop bleeding.

[Addition and subtraction]

1. For severe intestinal heat: add Coptis chinensis and Cortex Phellodendron.
2. If there is a large amount of blood: add Sanguisorba Sanguifolia and Lotus Root Jie.
3. For patients with blood deficiency: combine Siwu Decoction.
4. Hemorrhoids and constipation: Heyizi Decoction.
