Government subsidy for the Hong Kong People's Greater Bay Area Nursing and Attention Home (Guangdong Residential Care Service Scheme)

As we all know, the cost of finding a nursing home for the elderly in Hong Kong is generally high, and the service quality is not always ideal. However, the government actually has a project called the "Guangdong Residential Care Service Scheme". This scheme covers four designated residential homes in the Greater Bay Area. The government provides subsidies to cover the boarding and lodging expenses, nursing expenses, Personal care expenses and basic medical expenses.

After the elderly who participate in this plan move in, they no longer need to pay for the above-mentioned expenses out of their own pockets. They only need to pay for other expenses such as consumables, diapers and wound dressings. Overall, this plan can help the elderly save a lot of money.
